So today I found out some disturbing news – I was under the impression that after a woman gives birth, she can return to her normal daily habits. You know, like having a glass of wine at the end of the day, or a splash of Disarrono with her morning cup of coffee. Apparently, this is not so. First comes loves, then comes marriage, then comes baby in the baby carriage, and THEN comes breast feeding said baby, and thus, the woman still must remain alcohol-free. Does the torture never end? Is this really just because Eve ate that apple, that woman must endure this endless hardship? It’s just so unfair. I don’t see why all of us have to take the fall for her mistakes. What’s next? All Jews have to go to prison thanks to Bernie Madoff? All Alaskans are forever deemed morons thanks to Sarah Palin? I say lets put an end to this discrimination. Pregnant women – drink your alcohol, smoke your cigarettes and eat your sushi – just like your men do. I don’t know much, but I think this is what Feminism is all about.

  1. Ah yes, pregnancy takes sacrifice, and if you believe your baby will benefit from breast feeding, a little more sacrifice. But it is so worth it. I should know; I have you to show for it. And don't worry, you will more than make up for the lack of alcohol, consuming that wonderful liquid to help get through the trials and tribulations of raising that perfect child! Then before you know it, you and child are sharing the drinks together!
